The Burlington Symphony Orchestra takes over BPAC this Sunday.

The sun is out, it’s getting warm, and the garden centres are the busiest spots in town. 

Here’s what’s on this weekend in Burlington. 

May 10

The Stampeders - 7:30 p.m. - BPAC

The quintessentially Canadian 70s rock band The Stampeders headline the Burlington Performing Arts Centre this weekend! The band is playing all the classics, Wild Eyes, Carry Me, and more.

Mom’s Night Out 6 - 8:30 p.m. - Joseph Brant Museum

It’s an evening of donuts and tea at the museum, as Monarch Tea Co. and Bloomer’s Burlington lead an hour long interactive workshop. Guests will pair specialty tea blends with donuts – sure to be delicious.

First Date: A Musical - May 10 - 12, (2 P.M. Sunday matinee) & 8 p.m. - Drury Lane Theatre

A classic blind date meet cute takes an unexpected twist in this musical production from Drury Lane.

The Virtual Golf Club Grand Opening - 3 - 8 p.m. - 3455 Landmark Road

The golf experience is being modernized in Burlington with a new state of the art facility, including training, development, instruction, and fitness coaching options available year round.

Celebrate Burlington's twin-city relationship

On Saturday, celebrate Burlington's twin-city relationships with Apeldoorn, The Netherlands and Itabashi, Japan with a pair of exciting events. Hosted by Burlington's Mundialization Committee, the festivities will be held at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre and feature a Canada-Netherlands Friendship Day event at 10 a.m., followed by a Sakura Festival event at 1 p.m.

May 12

Symphonic Fairy Tales - 3 p.m. - Burlington Performing Arts Centre

Join in the classic music of Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, and Rimsky-Korsakov at BPAC this Sunday, as the Burlington Symphony Orchestra takes the stage.
