Halton Women’s Place is the only women’s shelter in the region that provides emergency safe shelter and community outreach services to women and children who are experiencing domestic violence and abuse. The non-profit organization also operates a critically important 24-hour crisis, information and support line.
Team Logue is proud to be the Silver Sponsor for their upcoming fundraising event: the 2024 Halton Women’s Place Enchanted Garden Gala. The gathering will take place on February 24, 2024 at the Oakville Conference Center; you can lend your support by purchasing your tickets online or making a donation towards the event. All money raised funds the programs and services that help women and children flee domestic violence. It is what makes the organization’s goals of empowering women and building safe communities possible.
For years, Team Logue has also partnered with Carpenter Hospice for their annual Hike for Hospice and Gala. Carpenter Hospice provides residential and community-based palliative care that enables Burlington residents and their families to experience a personal, dignified and meaningful palliative journey.
They have also supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation for several years. “For 2023, we are committed to raising $10K for their Trees of Joy initiative and in 2024 we are committing to another $10K donation for Women for Wishes,” says Logue.
“Connecting with Make-A-Wish, Halton Women’s Place and Carpenter Hospice is a top priority for Team Logue, as we believe there is always room to continuously support our neighbourhood. Working with these charities we ensure all efforts are supported and provided to our local communities.”
