Burlington adds Oanh Kasperski to its leadership team

New director of corporate communications and engagement brings over 20 years of experience to the role

Burlington has a new director of corporate communications and engagement.

According to a city press release, Oanh Kasperski brings over 20 years of experience in communications and engagement leadership to the role, with a proven track record of building strong reputations and fostering collaborative relationships.

She’s had previous leadership roles at McMaster University, CBC, and Seneca College, most recently as the director of marketing and brand at the University of Waterloo. 

The city’s executive director of community relations and engagement says she’s excited to have Kasperski join their team. 

“Her expertise in corporate communications and engagement will undoubtedly strengthen our commitment to supporting the impactful work already underway,” stated Jacqueline Johnson in a news release. 

“With Oanh on board, we are poised to advance the efforts of our department, emphasizing our dedication to telling compelling stories and actively engaging with our residents. Together, we look forward to fostering stronger connections and making a lasting positive impact on our community.”

Kasperski’s first day on the job will be Dec, 11.
