Burlington Teen Tour Band tops in Dublin St. Paddy's Day parade

The Burlington Teen Tour Band (BTTB) found a pot of gold in Dublin this week.

BTTB, which celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2022, marched in the city's St. Patrick's Day Parade — and their performance earned them the Best Overall Band award in the event.

Known as Canada's Musical Ambassadors, the squad is directed by Rob Bennett and Francis Smith. 

This wasn't the first time the  BTTB struck gold in Ireland. Previously, they toured there in 2013 and their performances 10 years ago earned them Best Youth Band in the Dublin parade and the All Ireland International Band Champions award in Limerick.

The band winds up the tour and returns home on March 21.
