LETTER: Canada has lost its soul to socialism

BurlingtonToday received the following Letter to the Editor from reader R Bailey about the current state of democracy in Canada: 

I’ve noticed a tremendous difference from my younger years to what’s been happening in the last 25 years… 

Canada has lost its soul to socialism and big governments in every aspect.

The answer is easy return to a free democratic society with our financial institutions free from government interference.

The milk marketing board is a great example with no competition the quality has fallen- butter full of palm oil and won’t spread.

Our cream has been watered down.

Prices are rising compared to the US.

4 L bags of milk that are difficult to work with and aren’t recycled … a small sample of fixed prices and socialism… 

Bring back a free democracy and freedom of choice…
