Families welcome at Burlington reading of The Sock Closet Elf

Children's book explores the mystery of what happens when socks go missing

Local youngsters are invited to a children's book reading later this month.

The Sock Closet Elf – written by Nanny Su McSweeney and illustrated by Anne L'Ecuyer – explores the mystery of what happens when socks go missing.

McSweeney will do a book reading and will sign copies for those who bring them along. Signed copies will also be available for purchase on Sept. 23 between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. at 5232 Woodhaven Dr. (Rain date: Sept. 24.)

There will also be fun activities for the kids (ages 3-6)  and some snacks.
