The Darling Home for Kids was selected to receive the September 100 Women Who Care donation.
Three local charities will be making their pitch for support at the Nov. 13 100 Women Who Care meeting.

The hybrid session takes place online and at the Burlington Golf and Country Golf and Country Club Monday evening. The doors open at 6:45 p.m., registration starts at 7 p.m. and the meetings start at 7:30 p.m.

The charities who wish to make their pitch for funding are entered in a draw; three are selected to present. The amount they are awarded varies.

Each member makes a tax-deductible donation of $100 (or $50 for those under 30) to the charity of choice. The goal of the Burlington group is to collectively generate a minimum of $40,000 annually for local charitable initiatives, creating a powerful impact as a result. Since 2014, the local chapter has supported 38 local charities with total donations of $242,125.

The successful charity in September, The Darling Home for Kids, will also give the group an update on how they plan to use the money they received.

100 Women Who Care Burlington, which now has 116 members/team, is also gearing up for its 10th anniversary in 2024.

Those interested in finding out more about the group are welcome to attend the Nov. 13 meeting. For more details visit the 100 Women Who Care Burlington website
