Burlington families give Santa a warm welcome at today's parade

Grey skies didn't dampen spirits for the annual holiday procession downtown

It was chilly and damp, but the December rain held off long enough for the man of the hour to make a grand entrance at the Santa Claus Parade today.

The annual Burlington tradition featured bands, floats, dancers and other festive attractions. Families waited along the side of the road as the parade wound its way along Guelph Line and New Street before making it way up Brant Street.

We hope you enjoy some great photos of the procession from freelance photographer Peter McCusker.
