Burlington Public Library is asking the community to help make the Library the best it can be by participating in its annual Customer Satisfaction Survey. The survey can be completed online or in a branch until Sunday, June 23.

The survey asks customers which services and branches they use, how they rate their experiences, and how the library can improve. The feedback will help Burlington Public Library better understand and meet the community’s needs.

“Over the past few years, we have continuously improved our open hours, collections, and services based on customer input,” said Lita Barrie, BPL Chief Executive Officer. “Our city is growing and changing, and we want to make sure the library reflects the community we serve.”

What’s New This Year

This year, participants will see a new question about what community well-being means to them to help guide the library’s offerings. During the survey period, visitors can also give their input on community well-being through large engagement boards posted at library branches. The large posters invite customers to place stickers on the answers they value most.

“Burlington Public Library thrives because of your involvement! Your feedback is invaluable in helping us make our library the best it can be for everyone in our community,” said Barrie. “We look forward to hearing from you in the coming weeks.”

The Library uses the information gathered through the survey to understand how Library services are being used, where they should focus improvement and innovation, and what is most important to the community. The anonymous survey takes about three minutes to complete.
