Dear Terry: After 43 years, Burlington still runs for you

More than 80 teams registered for this year's Terry Fox Run at Spencer Smith Park, and have so far raised more than $117,000 for cancer research.

This was the 43rd year for the event, and the theme was "Dear Terry". Participants were invited to sign a poster with messages on how they were inspired by the Marathon of Hope.

The Dear Terry Campaign is still accepting contributions, and organizers of the Burlington event were hoping to raise $200,000 this year. To support a team or donate to the Burlington event, visit run.terryfox.ca/28691.
