The region's first significant snowfall of 2023 wreaked havoc on highway traffic during rush hour Wednesday (Jan. 25) and resulted in school bus cancellations Thursday  but it also made for some beautiful scenery in downtown Burlington.

Freelance photographer Peter McCusker was out and about with his camera to capture the winter wonderland on  local streets.
