Sew on Fire Ministries Christmas Market - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - 975 Fraser Dr. Burlington
Gnomes, toques, quilts,teacher gifts, wreaths, Christmas items and more! Proceeds support Sew on Fire Ministries.
Holiday Artisan Market - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Appleby United Church (4407 Spruce Ave.)
The Elizabeth Gardens Creative Collective event is at a new venue this year, with more artists, a FREE creative activity, refreshments at our cafe, plus a chance to win prizes!
Holiday Handmade Market - 10 am. to 2 p.m. Corpus Christi High School (5150 Upper Middle Rd.)
More than 50 vendors, featuring holiday-themed treats and products Free admission.
Time to Shine Holiday Party - 8 p.m. - Burlington Legion (850 Legion Rd.)
The Halton Black History Awareness Society's annual holiday celebration, featuring Garnetta and Dagroovmasters and Mike DJ Gibs. Light refreshments, cash bar. Tickets $30 each. For info visit the HBHAS website.
Dec. 10
Kilbride Firefighters' Parade - 11 a.m. - Start/finish at Kilbride Fire Hall
The Kilbride Firefighters Association's annual Christmas Parade starts at the Fire Hall, heads along Kilbride Street and makes its way around the neighbourhood streets, where firefighters pick up donations for the Burlington Food Bank (items can also be dropped off at Kilbride Public School). Festival of Inner Lights - 1 to 3 p.m. - Art Gallery of Burlington
Hosted by the Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network, this free multi-cultural celebration features music, dance and meditation and self-realization practices Visit the 100 Seeds of Joy website for more info.
A Christmas Spectacular- 3 p.m. - Burlington Performing Arts Centre
The Burlington Symphony Orchestra performs Christmas favourites, complete with a carol sing-along. Tickets are $50 - more info available on the BPAC website.
