The Halton District School Board (HDSB) and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation-Teachers’ Bargaining Unit, District 20 Halton (OSSTF-TBU District 20) have ratified the tentative agreement previously announced, according to a brief statement released Thursday.
The OSSTF-TBU District 20 Halton local represents more than 1,450 secondary school teachers.
In other bargaining news, the HDSB and the Office, Clerical and Technical Unit (OCTU)-OSSTF District 20 local - which represents more than 500 staff - also recently announced a tentative agreement has been reached. This deal must be ratified by both the local members and the board.
