A 65-year-old Grimsby man died while swimming near Burlington Beach on Saturday afternoon.
Halton Regional Police uniformed and marine unit officers, along with Hamilton Fire and EMS and Burlington Fire and EMS, were called to assist with a possible drowning in Lake Ontario near Lakeshore Road and Eastport Drive at about 2 p.m. on Sept. 16.
According to Halton Police Media Officer Steve Elms, the man's body was located by the Halton Marine Unit at about 3:50 p.m.
