Aldershot is a happy, beautiful, busting village with unique shops and services that delight tourists and locals alike.
On June 24 from 5 pm to 9 pm, the village celebrates summer solstice. The event involves a vendor market with local artisans and association members, a car show from the Rebels Classic Cars & Hot Rod Club, live music, kids crafts, and an interactive graffiti art station hosted by a local artist.
Summer solstice will be a fun way to explore the boutique retailers that make up Aldershot’s business community.
“Our business membership is full of diverse shopping, hospitality, and professional businesses,” smiles Andrea Dodd, Aldershot Village BIA, Co-Lead Communications.
“We have delicious places to eat, including dine in and take out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our salon and spa selection is second-to-none with every service imaginable available on Plains Road. Professional services including financial planning, medical, holistic wellness, childcare, and real estate, to name a few. Shop for men and women's fashion, books, flowers, stained glass, home improvement and so much more.”
Plains Road is where shoppers find their treasures, which are always provided with outstanding customer service and the signature feel of local, hometown shopping. The Aldershot Business Association (BIA) ensures that the experience is world-class, every time.
“The BIA allows businesses and property owners to join together and, with the support of the municipality to organize, finance, and carry out its two-fold mandate: to improve, beautify, and maintain public lands and buildings within the BIA; and to promote the area as a business, shopping, service, and experience district,” Dodd shares.
