Welcome to Smith's Funeral Homes

Since 1938, we have been dedicated to supporting families in their time of need and helping individuals plan for the future. We are proud to be a family owned and operated business, and this is reflected in our service and in our commitment to supporting our communities. We believe that we have a corporate and personal social responsibility to the people of our communities, and try to make a difference through contributions of time, talent, and resources – giving back is at the heart of who we are.

Our mission at Smith’s is to help people of all faiths and beliefs create meaningful experiences that acknowledge and celebrate the life of a person who has died. We will do this in a caring, confidential yet sensitive manner that respects the dignity and worth of the deceased, honours both traditional rituals and contemporary rites and responds to individual financial circumstances or preferences.

From immediate cremation, to green burial, to contemporary celebrations, gatherings and receptions to more traditional services, we are here to meet your needs and facilitate your requests (however simple or detailed they may be).

When you meet our staff, you will know that you and your loved ones are in caring, compassionate, hands. Our team works hard each and every day to make sure that families are cared for during such a difficult time in their lives. We are proud to continue a long tradition of caring and service excellence that all began with one family, one leap of faith and many sacrifices over the past 85 years. We are people caring for people...because life is precious.
