The Last Resort is a perfect hideout for theatre lovers

Norm Foster play slated to run at Drury Lane through May

Drury Lane Theatrical Productions' cast and crew are busy rehearsing The Last Resort, which will run for 12 performances in May.

Produced by arrangement with Toronto's The Talent House, the murder mystery musical comedy was penned by Canadian playwright Norm Foster.

Aramenta Sobchak directs the action, which sees Nick Galeazzo on the run from the New York mob with undercover FBI Agent Angela Miller. The pair hide out in the last place anyone would look for him: a secluded, run-down resort in Saskatchewan. As each guest reveals deception and ulterior motives, it becomes clear that no one is who they claim to be, and this “safe” house might be exactly the opposite.

Heide Lange is musical director for the show, which is produced by Katherine Kormos and Randy Bridge.

The Last Resort is slated for evening shows each weekend in May, with matinees on May 14, 21 and 28.

For information on the show or to purchase tickets, call the box office at 905-637-3979, email [email protected] or visit www.drurylane.ca.
