City of Burlington announces closures due to winter weather

The City of Burlington is closing numerous facilities throughout the city due to unsafe weather conditions caused heavy snowfall this afternoon (Jan. 25).

The following sites will close at 2 p.m.:

• Recreational facilities
• Sims Square
• City Hall
• Downtown transit terminal
• Halton Court Service in-person pubic service counters

According to the city website, all programs and rentals have been cancelled.

To access Halton Court Services remotely, email [email protected] or call 905-637-1274. Any scheduled court appearances for today Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023 will continue until the end of proceedings, you are able to attend in person or via zoom.
