Locals donate goods to earn a cookie at Goodwill/Nisan event

Ward 3 councillor Rory Nisan cohosted a donation drive with Goodwill Amity on Saturday at the Goodwill Donation Centre at 2501 Guelph Line.

Locals were invited to give back to the community to donate the results of their spring cleaning and enjoy a cookie from the Brick Oven Bakery as a token of gratitude. 

Nisan invited residents through his Ward 3 update newsletter to come by for a chat.

Despite the cold weather the turnout was good, with several people dropping off items they no longer needed.

Nisan's next community meeting is a Ward 3 Community Safety Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Brant Hills Community Centre, foyer. or online on zoom https://bit.ly/Ward3Rory
