WATCH: Why does Burlington have so many coyotes?

As BurlingtonToday recently reported, the city has spent quite a bit of time — and money — dealing with troublesome coyotes this year.

After seven reported attacks in September, the city tracked down and killed four members of the pack believed to be responsible.

Lesley Sampson, co-founder of Coyote Watch Canada, was a recent guest on Inside the Village, a weekly news podcast produced by Village Media. She was asked why coyotes seem to be especially prevalent in Burlington.
