Gallery: Elite players court prizes at Burlington 3-on-3 tourney

Basketall fans had a chance to take in some elite 3-on-3 action at The Playground Saturday (Aug. 12), as 16 teams vied for a $10,000 prize and FIBA points.

The Wentworth District 3VS3 Basketball Festival, originally slated at an outdoor court in Hamilton in July, was bumped due to rain. Organizer David Finlay decided to move it indoors, to the Century Drive facility. Team Nike and Raptors 905 came on board, and the event featured giveaways, prizes, entrtainment and veendorst.

But the action on the courts was the main attraction. The final came down to a match between the GTA Ballers and OTG 3on3 PRO that went into overtime. The GTA Ballers came  out on top to take the top prize.
