LANE, Catherine Ann “Kay” (nee McLeod)-

August 21st, 1934 - January 1st, 2024

Passed away, with her family by her side, at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on January 1, 2024 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Raymond “Ray” Lane (May 1998). Loving mother of Christine Laidlaw (late Don -Nov. 2023), Mike Lane (Lisa McRae) and Susan Rev (Peter). Cherished Grandma to her five grandsons; Brandon and Cameron Lane and Dylan, Kyle and Ryan Rev. Kay is predeceased by her 3 brothers; Dan, Jack and Bill. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Nellie McLeod, her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Road, Burlington on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. If desired, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, The Carpenter Hospice or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
