MALIZIA, Shirley Gladys (nee Skelton)-

January 20th, 1936 - April 15th, 2024

Passed away peacefully at her home in Burlington, on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Nick (2011). Loving mother of Thomas (Sue) and Stephen (Ilinka). Cherished Grandma of Erin (Andrew), Heather (Simon), Samantha (Bryan), Taylor (Brett), Madison (Brandon), Sean (Emily) and proud Great-Grandma of Blake, Avery, Maxwell, Jaxson, Ellie, Emmett, Isaac, Jaymes, Theo, Wyatt and Natalie. Shirley will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends. She was an active member of St. John’s Anglican Church in Burlington and will be fondly remembered by her church family.

Private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Friday, May 3, 2024 with visitation from 12 noon until time of Service at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
