WATSON, Evelyn Marietta (nee Hall )

March 5th, 1924 - July 28th, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Evelyn Marietta Watson of Niagara Falls, Ontario (formerly Burlington) in her 100th year at the Niagara Falls Hospital on Friday July 28, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Clifford Frederick Watson. Dear daughter of the late Oscar and Irene Hall. Beloved mother of Judy Dzurban and her husband Barry. Much loved grandmother
of Erica Bagnulo and her husband Vincent and Brian Dzurban and his spouse Alicia. Dear great grandmother, lovingly known as "The Great" by Olivia, Keira and Payton. Survived by her sisters Ruby, Verna and Joan. Predeceased by her brothers Albert, Emerson, Lorne and Melvin and sisters Laurene, Muriel and Elsie. Evelyn is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was an avid gardener who took great pride in tending to her many gardens. Evelyn was recognized several times by the city of Burlington for her gardening efforts which beautified her community. As a nature lover, Evelyn enjoyed several fishing adventures with her best "pal" Cliff. Evelyn was a huge Tiger Woods fan and rarely missed the opportunity to watch Sunday golf. Evelyn also loved cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The family will receive friends at Smith's Funeral Home 485 Brant Street, Burlington, Ontario (905-632-3333) Wednesday, August 2nd at 12:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1: 00 pm followed by a reception. Donations to Alzheimer Society of Canada or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
