The Halton Regional Police Service has arrested the final suspect wanted in the investigation of a residential break-in spree, according to a news release. On Dec. 8, Marcel Blackburn, 38, of Hagersville was arrested in Oakville. He has been charged with 68 break-and-enter related offences and one breach of probation charge.
Blackburn was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.

Dec. 6 update:
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested an additional two suspect in connection with a break-in spree at 30 homes across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area.
According to a Halton Police media release, 33-year-old Jordan Saccucci of Mississauga and 41-year-old Dumark Lindsay of Mississauga were arrested in Oakville on Dec 5. They have each been charged with 68 break and enter-related offences.
Both accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton, say police.
The Chevrolet Tahoe RST pictured in the initial media release has also been recovered by police. It was located in Brampton with fake plates attached to it and determined to be stolen.
Marcel Blackburn, 37, of Hagersville remains wanted in connection with this investigation.

Dec. 4 update:
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested one of the four suspects wanted in this investigation.
On Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, police arrested Paul Nkrumah (36) of Brampton. He was arrested by HRPS officers in Smithville. At the time of his arrest, Nkrumah was in possession of a stolen Jeep Cherokee.
In addition to the break and enter charges he was wanted for, Nkrumah is now facing charges of dangerous drive, flight from police, assault with intent to resist arrest and possession of stolen property over $5,000.
Nkrumah was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has identified a group of four suspects wanted in connection for a spree of residential break-ins to homes in Halton and throughout the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area (GTHA) and southern Ontario.
On Nov. 21, 2023, search warrants were executed at four residences associated to the suspects located in Mississauga, Brampton, and Hagersville. As a result, police recovered numerous items believed to have been stolen from various break and enters, however, the suspects were not located and have not been arrested.
Arrest warrants have been issued for the suspects in relation to 30 residential break and enters in the regions of Halton, Peel, York, Caledon, and Hamilton.
The four men have been identified as:
• Jordan Saccucci (33) of Mississauga (also known to frequent the Innisfil area)
• Marcel Blackburn (37) of Hagersville (also known to frequent the GTA)
• Paul Nkrumah (36) of Brampton
• Dumark Lindsay (41) of Mississauga (also known to frequent the Brampton/ Mayfield area)
Police believe the suspects are aware they are wanted but have not turned themselves in. To the contrary, police believe the suspects have continued their activity and are believed to be involved in recent residential break and enters that took place Nov. 22 and 23 in Oakville, Mississauga and York.
The HRPS would like to remind all communities to be vigilant of suspicious or unfamiliar vehicles parked in residential driveways in their neighbourhoods – in particular, newer model SUVs and pickup trucks.
The suspects may approach the front door of residences during daytime hours with their identities concealed using surgical masks or face coverings, and wear hoods and gloves. If confronted by home owners, the suspects may provide an unconvincing excuse pertaining to some sort of construction or landscaping service before quickly departing.
The suspects were last observed operating a newer model black Chevrolet Tahoe RST. The men have ties to the GTHA, but are believed to have travelled to other parts of the province to conduct break and enters.
Police urge the suspects to obtain legal counsel and turn themselves in as soon as possible.
