One injured in Burlington townhouse fire

One person was injured in a townhouse fire late Friday.

The Burlington Fire Department dispatched nine emergency vehicles and 30 crew members to Upper Middle Road just after 11 p.m.

When firefighters arrived, smoke was visible. Crews were on scene for about two hours.

Officials say the fire originated in the garage and list the cause as “mechanical failure.”

Damage to the home is estimated at approximately $650,000.
