A man has serious injuries following a hit and run near the GO station on Fairview Street last night.
At approximately 8:32 p.m. on March 24, Halton Regional Police Service was notified of a pedestrian involved in a motor vehicle collision at 2101 Fairview St.
A 35-year-old male was crossing Fairview Street when he was struck by a motor vehicle. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a trauma centre. The vehicle that struck him did not remain on scene.
The investigation is currently ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident who have not yet spoken with police are asked to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext: 5065. Police would also like to speak with anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage.
