Halton police were called to an address on Fairview Street to investigate a garbage fire on Dec. 13.
According to police communications, the blaze occurred at about 9:30 p.m. The source was a small metal barbecue, and the fire spread to an adjacent large blue bin.
Burlington Fire crews attended and extinguished the fire
The bin had extensive damage and was destroyed, said police.
