The hidden gem of Village Square located in downtown Burlington is a must-visit destination. Just check out the in-depth tour with Burlington Realtor® and host of The Genuine Realtor® Show, Rochelle Edwards above!

With a mix of history and modernity, the Victorian-style shopping district was built in the 1970s and designed to mimic old English architecture. It is home to many historic buildings, including Stinson House, The Hotel on Pine Street, the Firehall, and the replica of The Queens Hotel.

"A block north of Spencer Smith and the Brant Street Pier, many people aren’t aware it’s here, but if you haven’t visited in a while, you should definitely make time!" encourages Edwards. "Most of the buildings are actually fairly modern, but the facade is designed to capture old English architecture and create a bazaar-like atmosphere as it’s developer Jack Friedman had envisioned."

The colonnade, with its Georgian-inspired arches and columns, adds to the unique atmosphere of the shopping district. The interior of Village Square is full of businesses offering a range of services, from shopping and dining to workouts and beauty treatments. It is also the site of many seasonal events, such as Bright Nights holiday experience and Treats in the Streets, that bring locals and visitors together to enjoy the stunning backdrop of Village Square.
