LETTER: Local seniors step up with sock donations to help others

At the December Empowered Seniors Speaker Series, attendees were asked to bring a pair of socks to the session.

I'm happy to say that our seniors were very generous and we were able to gather approximately 90 pairs which I dropped off to the Compassion Society that same afternoon.
