Finding a path to personal wellness just became a bit easier, thanks to a new digital program launched by the Burlington Downtown Business Association (BDBA).
The "Wellness in #DTBURL” digital passport launched April 17, and aims to help participants discover the resources available downtown and find the wellness path that's right for them.
The program highlights nine local health and wellness businesses that focus on physical health, mental health, nutrition and much more.
It is a journey that can be challenging to start, and many people may not even know where to begin. The BDBA, alongside its member business professionals, are looking to help make that first step easier (and enjoyable).
The pass is free to sign up for and easy to use. Once signed up for the pass, participants will receive an email or text notification phone, and can save the pass to their phone’s home screen. Then, they can open the pass when visiting a participating business to check-in.
Participating locations include retail businesses, personal and wellness services, health services, and more.
All participating businesses are offering an incentive as part of this program. According to a press release from the BDBA, the incentive may be a deal, discount, free information kit, or a similar offering.
"The Wellness in #DTBURL pass empowers residents and visitors alike to connect and engage with their own unique needs,” says Alison Policicchio, Marketing Manager for the BDBA. “People, from all walks of life, have their own definitions and goals for what personal wellness means. This pass is designed to help users both discover and rediscover what’s right for them by connecting with experts in the field.
"The free-flow design of the pass itself encourages users to engage with our business professionals in a manner that is organic, natural, and comfortable," she added. " Most importantly, it can be done at their own pace, when they are ready to take that next step.”
The Wellness in #DTBURL program runs from April 17 to June 30. Participants can sign up on the BDBA website.
