Food donations sought to make Mother's Day dinner special

Partnering Aldershot Food Collection Committee encourages donations this week

Everyone needs to be able to celebrate Mother's Day, says the Partnering Aldershot Food Collection Committee.

The committee is asking if you can by bringing items for families to be able to make a special dinner for Mom.

Drive-thru drop-off food collection takes place Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Church, 126 Plains Rd. E.

Donations will go to the Burlington Food Bank and the Compassion Society of Halton, the committee said.
