Finding yourself leaving the windows open a bit more than you did last week? Spring is on the way. 

Here’s what’s on this weekend in Burlington. 

May 3

Joseph Brant Hospital Spring Marketplace - May 3 - 4 - St. Christopher’s Anglican Church

Looking for some antiques, collectibles, or anything vintage? In need of some new decor or fashion staples? St. Christopher’s is the place to be this weekend. 

Doors open at 4 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday.

May 4

Kilbride Makers Market - 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Kilbride United Church 

Home made goods from 25 vendors are on display at the makers market, everything from pottery to pet toys is up for grabs. 

It’s advised that visitors remember to bring cash with them, as not all vendors will have card readers and the nearest ATM is 15 minutes away by car.

Flashmob - 11:30 a.m. - Burlington Centre

Dust off the dancing shoes and head to the Burlington Centre food court to join in a worldwide dancing extravaganza. Flash mobs all over the world will be dancing to one of two songs, either Stand By Me or When You’re Drunk.

Mother’s Day Market and Fashion Show - 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Burlington Legion 

The Ladies Auxiliary are hosting a fashion show and market just in time for Mother’s Day. This is a free event that showcases some curated goods and clothing items.

Festival of New Beginnings - 2 - 4 p.m. - Burlington Lions Club

This free annual event brings in a multi-cultural celebration for Mother’s Day. Guests will enjoy guided meditation, self realization, positive affirmations, and cultural experiences from Greece, France, Turkey, and Iran.
