Halton Regional Police made an arrest and laid multiple charges after two Special Constables with GO Transit were assaulted.
On Friday, Feb. 9, at approximately 9 p.m., police responded to a call at the Burlington GO Transit station on Fairview Street after two Special Constables with GO Transit were assaulted during an interaction and arrest of a passenger.
Police attended and took custody of the passenger.
Sean Kelly (47) of no fixed address has been charged with the following:
- Assault Peace Officer
- Assault with Intent to Resist (two counts)
- Disarm Peace Officer (two counts)
- Sexual Assault
Kelly was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
