A Milton teacher arrested earlier this year in a child luring investigation is facing additional charges.
Halton Regional Police say that further investigation found that Justin Zielke had been luring children online from all over the world and recorded children performing sexual acts and would often pay them to do so, using Roblox gift cards as the currency.
Police say that Zielke met with a 14-year-old girl in Brampton in February 2022 and sexually assaulted her.
On Monday, 29 additional charges were laid against Zielke, including:
- voyeurism (four counts)
- accessing child pornography (five counts)
- luring (nine counts)
- make child pornography (four counts)
- extortion (two counts)
- invitation to sexual touching
- sexual interference
- sexual assault
- obtaining sexual services from a minor
Police say that Zielke commonly used the online platform Omegle to target victims and used the following usernames:
- Dan Forest
- D_lband202
- Noah
- Martin Rivalo
Zielke was also a teacher at St. Vincent Catholic Elementary School in Oakville from 2014 to 2016 and at Oakville's St. Matthew Catholic Elementary School in 2013.
