Suspect sought in connection to Burlington crash last June

Police say the suspect has ties to the Burlington area and investigators believe he is residing in Hamilton

The Halton Regional Police Service is seeking the public's assistance in locating Trevor Adams who is wanted for a series of criminal offences.

On June 23, 2023, Adams was involved in a collision near the intersection of Maple Avenue and Fairview Street in Burlington. He fled the scene without making attempts to check on the other driver or exchange information. Adams was located a short time later by police and again fled the scene. Subsequent attempts to locate and arrest Adams have been unsuccessful, and he is known to be actively evading police.

Adams is a white man, approximately 6 feet tall, and weighs approximately 180 lbs.

Adams is wanted for charges of Failure to Stop after an Accident, Flight from Peace Officer, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Taking Motor Vehicle Without Consent.  

Although Adams has ties to the Burlington area, investigators believe he is residing in Hamilton.

The Halton Regional Police Service is urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Trevor Adams to come forward and contact the police immediately. Residents are advised not to approach him.
