BurlingtonToday received the following letter to the editor from reader Joan Little regarding our story Drury Lane's The Sound of Music features truly magical moments.
If anything, Greg Flis didn't provide enough kudos for the wonderful afternoon we spent watching this entrancing production.
Friends are I are regulars at Drury lane (and Flis and his wife Sheila often perform in productions there).
I was skeptical about how they'd be able to stage a production with such a large cast, but it worked beautifully and seamlessly. Even the many scenery changes were carried off and almost seemed to "belong", not distract.
I can't praise this wonderful production enough.
I'd also wondered how they'd stage the various locales in the story without making it seem hodge-podge, but they excelled!
For those who have tickets, you're in for a huge treat. For the rest, you missed one of the best theatrical performances going.
