LETTER: What's being done to help homeless who have set up tents?

Burlington today received the following letter about tents set up by homeless people on city property at Guelph Line and the QEW.

We'd like to know what is being done about the tents that have been erected on city property on the northeast side of Guelph Line at QEW.

While having compassion for the homeless, this is a distraction for motorists and the garbage etc. collecting around the area will for sure be an attraction for rats and coyotes.

Hopefully something can be done.
