Burlington Waterfront Sculpture Trail launches second season

New exhibition of more than 30 art pieces runs from April 21 to June 2

The second season of the Burlington Waterfront Sculpture Trail opens today (April 21) and runs until June 2.

The project is sponsored by the Dan Lawrie International Sculpture Collection and features more than 30 works by Canadian artists.

The pieces are installed along a 1 km stretch of the trail, linking the Art Gallery of Burlington, Spencer Smith Park and the Downtown Burlington BIA on Brant Street. The path is fully accessible, allowing visitors to walk, run, inline skate or cycle from end to end.

Each sculpture features a sign that provides information about the artist, the intentions behind their work and where you visitors can find more information about them.

Guide books are available at the Art Gallery of Burlington, Joseph Brant Museum, City Hall and many retailers and restaurants in Downtown Burlington. Digital guides are also available online.
