Fun was on the agenda Thursday afternoon at the Woodview Mental Health and Autism Services centre in Aldershot.
Staff and volunteers invited students, parents, alumni, and members of the public to the facility to join in their new version of an annual general meeting, complete with a bouncy castle, petting zoo, barbecue, music and prizes.
Executive director Flora Ennis welcomed guests at 3 p.m. with opening remarks before handing the megaphone to Ward 1 councillor Kelvin Galbraith.
For hours, children played, enjoyed warm food on a cool fall afternoon, and met some farm animals from a small petting zoo set up on site.
